Lilian Too

Lillian Too was born in 1946 in Penang. She is a best-selling author, a TV star, and a Feng Shui practitioner. She wrote more than 80 books on Feng Shui that were translated in 30 languages. Her books were sold in more than 6 million copies worldwide.

She is an MBA graduate of the Harvard Business School, and also the first woman in the history of Malaysia to run an international company and to become CEO of a bank in Asia. After retiring from her banking career, Lillian became the founder and president of the World of Feng Shui merchandising company, and also founded the bimonthly magazine Feng Shui World. Moreover, she set up the Lillian Too Certified Consultants Institute, which runs courses and certification programs in Feng Shui. She also runs a show known as the Lillian Too Feng Shui Extravaganza.
Her Complete Illustrated Guide to Feng Shui holds the record for the highest sales for a colour hardcover book, with more than 600,000 copies sold to date.

Jami Lin

Jami Lin studied interior design at the University of Florida. Then in 1983 she opened her own company, before she embraced the influence of the ancient Chinese art of Feng Shui.
What is her view of Feng Shui?
“Feng Shui is not mystical, nor is it intuitive; true Feng Shui is scientific, it is based on mathematics and the gravitational force. All of its roots are found in science.”
“From the moment a friend talked to me about Feng Shui 20 years ago, my life has never been the same,” says Jami.
She shortly began to show much interest for this art, because as a designer she knew there had to be another dimension to juxtaposing objects. She says that in the Book of Exodus, there are specifications on how to build the temples. Each culture has studied the relationship between heaven and earth, as well as its influence on people.
“The Chinese call this Feng Shui.”
In her early years, Jami Lin was influenced by Joseph Campbell, a writer of mythology and religion, because, says Jami, “He was able to see the universal nature of what we are as human beings, the universal nature of our consciousness, and this translates into our design.”
For Jami, Earth Design is a coming together of the countless Feng Shui schools – “the relationship between heaven and earth”.
