WOOD

The wood element is, of course, represented by trees, wood panelling and furniture, wood sculptures, or plants. It is also symbolized by high columns resembling trees. Such tall buildings inspire growth and the connection between heaven and earth.
The colour of wood is green; its corresponding direction is East; and its organ is the liver.
